"We must congratulate Franco Subbiani on the way he has refurbished & redecorated his new Restaurant & the Riverside Lounge Bar. He has paid great attention to details which are second to none, amazing improvements from what this Restaurant was like before! The food is excellent & so is the service & most of all the best value for money in Shrewsbury. Also we must not forget the beautiful views over the River Severn. Well done Franco, we wish you every success & must not forget Adrian the barman, who makes very nice & unusual cocktails, keep up the good work. "

"Having read a reveiw in the Midlands "whats on" magazine,I was not sure what to exspect. I am delighted to say that i ate at the Restaurant on Saturday the 25th June and had a lovely lunch. It was affordable, good quality dishes, friendly staff and an amazing view of the river. I want that table again (ground floor, far end on the diagnol). The decor is not really to my liking but hay the food, the welcome, the cost remove any issue i have regarding the decor. I will most certainly visit again and encourage the whole county of Shropshire to visit. Take no notice of certain publications and make your own mind up, you wont be disappointed. "We found Romolos on the internet whilst serching for somewhere special to dine for our 1st wedding anniversary. The restaurant was not only special but its staff and food were outstanding. We were left wanting for nothing by mindful staff and a brilliant maitre'd called Howard. We then sampled some of the famous cocktails and were not dissapointed! We recommend the Mojitos!"

"My husband and I visited Romolo's for a romantic birthday dinner. The food was far beyond our expectations. We both ordered the fillet steak which was cooked to absolute perfection. Our waiter Bobby had superb knowledge of the menu and offered fantastic advice for the perfect wine choice. I could not have asked for a more perfect birthday meal. The night then became even more magical when we went upstairs and were greated by a wonderfull jazz band and imaganitive cocktail menu which i did my best to sample, my own personal favourite was the tennesee ice tea - scrumptious! All in all I could not find one fault with the evening and will be recommending the restaurant to friends and will certainly be returning very soon. Our party of five chose the lunch time menu each plate served was not just well presented but tasted delightful with superbe combinations of flavors. The chosen main dishes were fantastic the wine smooth, the desserts a touch of wow and the coffee- well, i hunt for a good coffee and today i found one. Pleasantly surprised at the bill - all that for 5 people and under £90 - we'll be back and we're most definately spredding the word how good you all are. "
